This project was created to address a critical challenge: encouraging young Nigerians to start saving for retirement early. Many people in their 20s and 30s overlook pensions, seeing them as distant or irrelevant. GTBank Pension Managers wanted to shift this perception with a campaign that felt fresh, relatable, and interactive, showing that future financial security can and should start now.
At the center of the campaign was a playful, AI-driven web application. Users could upload a photo, input their salary range, and the app would “guess” their age before calculating how much they should have saved in pension contributions at that stage of life. The interactivity made the subject approachable and even fun, sparking curiosity and conversation among young audiences. Alongside the app, we designed striking social media content and digital posters to amplify reach and engagement across key platforms.
The campaign combined education with entertainment, making pension saving less intimidating and more actionable. By giving users a personalised glimpse of their financial future, the experience created strong emotional resonance and a sense of urgency. Social buzz around the tool further extended its reach, positioning GTBank Pension Managers as both innovative and youth-focused, while successfully reframing pensions as something worth thinking about today, not tomorrow.
